Three in a row! .... Sedibeng District Municipality today received its third successive 'Clean Audit' from the Auditor-General of South Africa (2014/2015 Financial Year). In summary, a 'Clean Audit' is an audit opinion of unqualified financial statements with no material findings on the quality of the annual performance report, as well as no findings on non-compliance with key legislation. During her address to the final sitting of Council for 2015, Mayor Modisakeng also congratulated the Midvaal Local Municipality on their 2nd successive Clean Audit.
Handing over the report to Mayor Modisakeng is Mark Ambrose from the Office of the AG, flanked by the Speaker, Cllr Greta Hlongwane and the Municipal Manager, Mr. Yunus Chamda.
