Tender Scam Exposed 13 Jan 2017   Vaal Triangle contractors and other business people should take note of a new tender scam. This warning comes from Mrs Rosemary Cloete-Anderson, Chairperson of the Emfuleni Tourism Association, and Mr Klippies Kritzinger, CEO of the Vanderbijlpark Business Chamber. If you have received an email from “no-reply@yaetsho.co.za” which was sent out to recipients on Sunday, inviting tenders for “R11billion Vaal River City Project by Yaetsho Investments and Projects”, see it for what it is –  a scam, Mrs Cloete-Anderson and Mr Kritzinger say. Mrs Cloete Anderson who is also Deputy Chairperson of FEDHASA Inland, says she has established that the tender invite (below), is a scam. “I can only presume the whole idea is to collect lots of R7 510 payments for Tender Documents. Hopefully, when tenders do go out for the Vaal River City Development, sufficient time will be given and a meeting will be held with Vaal Businesses so ‘local’ is given the biggest and first opportunity – which obviously would be the right thing to do!” she says.
