Executive Mayor Mlungisi Hlongwane hands out a graduation certificate to a successful learner at the recent Xtensive ICT Graduation Ceremony.
Isett Seta Graduation Ceremony
[02.11.07] Sedibeng District Municipality, in partnership with Isett Seta and Xtensive ICT Academy, hosted graduation’s for competrent learners at the Vaal Teknorama in Vereeniging on the 02 November 2007. The Learnership programme had 125 learners and 112 learners were declared competent.
The CEO of Isset Seta, Mr Oupa Mopaki said that people have been questioning the learnerships programmes strategy and asking why the programme cannot accomodate people with national diplomas or degrees. Mr Mopaki continued by saying that they will continue taking grade 12`s and developing them to better our country.
Sedibeng Executive Mayor Mlungisi Hlongwane said to the graduates “We call on you to become our ambassadors in the real world. Go out and assist our Municipality to reproduce the seeds of success. This graduation is also a demonstration of the results of positive values, a sense of responsibility, sound behavior, and discipline which is so important in a learning environment.
