Meet the Municipal Manager

 “My most important contribution that I think I can make is to ensure that important National and Provincial initiatives such as Asgisa and the Gauteng Growth and Development Strategy deliver to the people of Sedibeng,” said Lisa Seftel when asked to address the Council after her appointment.

She added, “I would want to listen carefully to the needs and aspirations of the people of this district and together with the officials and Council look at ways in which these can be met. I hope to be able to build on the work that has already been done in areas of Local Economic Development, Tourism promotion, Poverty Alleviation, Safety, Heritage Management, BBBEE, environmental protection etc and identify the most appropriate role that the Sedibeng District Council can play in taking these issues forward”
