The District AIDS Council Meeting took place on 29 May 2025 at City Hall in Vereeniging. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Zwelidinga Mqwathi, Chairperson of the AIDS Council, who led discussions on improving the district’s HIV/AIDS response.
Participants reviewed reports from the Integrated Disease Control (IDC) and the Secretariat. These reports provided information on the HIV/AIDS situation in the district and helped identify issues that need attention. Council members and stakeholders used this data to guide their planning and coordination efforts.
