On the 17th May, Gauteng Premier David Makhura visited Lesedi Local Municipality for his Ntirhisano programme. Accompanying him at the Ratanda Multi-purpose centre where Sedibeng’s Executive Mayor, Cllr. Busisiwe Modisakeng, Lesedi Mayor Cllr. Lerato Mkhize (nee Maloka) and MEC Paul Mashatile, MEC Faith Mazibuko and MEC Lebogang Maile.
The Ntirhisano Programme is a proactive and participatory approach to problem-solving, as well as restoring levels of trust and public confidence on the ground. Ntirhisano is about working together with communities to improve the pace of service delivery and making government officials and service providers more accountable.
