The Gauteng MEC for Community Safety Sizakele Nkosi –Malobane accompanied by Sedibeng District Municipality’s Speaker of Council Melina Gomba and MMC for Health and Social services Zaza Raikane held a safety dialogue at VUT on the 17th of September 2018 to address safety concerns such as rape, robberies and burglary incidents which was raised by the students in the past years.

Sedibeng District Municipality in partnership with BenBen Technologies held an informal traders economic infrastructure equipment launch at Vereeniging Constitutional Square on the 31st of May 2018.
